Chiropractor with Lubbock Advanced Physical Medicine Wins “Best Chiropractor” in KCBD News Awards

Lubbock, Texas – Dr. Korey D. Kothmann, DC, has been named "Best Chiropractor" in the “Best of the West” awards hosted by Lubbock news channel KCBD. The annual awards highlight community excellence; winners are nominated and voted upon by News Channel 11 viewers and KCBD.com users. This year’s health awards recognized Dr. Kothmann for the Lubbock chiropractor’s commitment to personalized care and drug-free pain management and injury rehabilitation. Other awardees include best dentist, best medical day spa, best fitness center, best pediatric physician, best pharmacy and more.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized amongst so many experienced, compassionate health care providers,” said Dr. Kothmann. “At Lubbock Advanced Physical Medicine, our mission is simple: to help all patients activate their natural ability to help their bodies health so they can carry out their lives’ missions with purpose and abundance.”

Dr. Kothmann says that while the being selected for the “Best of the West” awards is a true honor, it is an important motivator to keep working even harder to provide the best possible patient care.

The Lubbock chiropractor says patients choose his practice because of his commitment to highly personalized, drug-free care – and that he will continue striving to help as many patients as possible live a healthier life.

“Many of the patients who come to my practice have been struggling with chronic pain for months or even years,” said Dr. Kothmann. “These patients may feel confused, anxious and worried. A common question I get is, ‘Will I ever feel okay again?’ My mission is to help patients feel more than just ‘okay’ – I want them to be empowered to live their best possible life!”

Dr. Kothmann provides pain management and injury rehabilitation services that integrate several different treatment techniques. The chiropractor says that this personalized, integrative approach delivers optimal results for his patients.

“Every experiences pain differently,” said Dr. Kothmann. “I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, my goal is to identify the precise trigger for a patient’s pain and create the right treatment program to relieve this pain.” The Lubbock chiropractor says that most treatment plans include chiropractic adjustments and may also integrate physical medicine, spinal decompression therapy and myofascial release. “The spine is the body’s foundation,” said Dr. Kothmann.

“When it is correctly aligned, the body can function in a state of ease. A spinal misalignment can trigger pain and adversely impact overall health. For example, a herniated disc may compress the sciatic nerve, triggering a painful condition known as sciatica. Unlike medication, which would only provide temporary relief for pain symptoms, chiropractic adjustments target the underlying mechanical misalignment for long-lasting, drug-free pain relief.”
