The process of receiving platelet rich injections involves our staff taking some of your blood, spinning it in a centrifuge to remove the platelet rich plasma, and then returning the plasma to your body. After the components of your blood are separated, a staff member will take the platelet rich plasma and prepare it to be returned to your body. Our chiropractor will use imaging techniques, such as an ultrasound, to locate the areas of your body that will benefit the most from the PRP injection. Once the proper area is located, the platelet rich plasma will be injected back into your body.
